


With Nioh 2 still highly regarded as a Souls-like game, players are always looking for a harder time. Beyond the story, the main thing that will likely drive interest from Nioh 2 fans is the introduction of a new difficulty mode. The name itself refers to the very legend that birthed the first Samurai as told to the protagonist by their mother. According to the Official PlayStation Blog that announced the release date, it's going to be a "thrilling conclusion." The story will see the protagonist go back in time to one of the most significant moments of samurai lore. The First Samurai DLC is touted as something Nioh 2 fans don't want to miss out on. Koei Tecmo confirms that while PC and PlayStation 5 players will have to wait until February for a Nioh 2 complete bundle, existing PlayStation 4 players won't have to wait all that long to conclude the journey. With PC player finally happy to have a crack at developer Team Ninja's Souls-like samurai sequel, PlayStation 4 players are still waiting on some outstanding DLC. The publisher recently announced a Nioh 2 Remaster and Complete Edition package for 2021, alongside confirmation of the long awaited PC port. Nioh 2 has finally returned to the spotlight following a big information blowout by Koei Tecmo.
